Language is produced by a set of muscles of the head, neck, chest and abdomen. Its development is a gradual process that requires many years of practice, during which we learn to regulate the muscles in order to produce intelligible sounds. Speech disorders in a child occur when speech and/or comprehension activities develop later than peers, distort sounds, or when the child suffers from an incorrect structure and functioning of the speech organs.
Taking care of the development of the most important skills in children, namely hearing and speech, we have developed specialized speech therapy tools aimed at the treatment of speech defects and the development of the proper functioning of all organs involved in the communication process. We have prepared manuals and tests, as well as other speech therapy accessories, dedicated to children, schools and teachers.
The professionally developed Speech Therapy Guide contains, among other things, cards for practicing the motility of the organs of articulation, speech therapy tales and counting tokens. A popular solution is the game "Hear, See, Pronounce", which is designed to teach the correct pronunciation of sounds and is useful, in particular, for children with various reading and writing difficulties. It is much easier and more pleasant for children to work on the performance of the speech organs, imitating already known symbols (the game "Gymnastics of the mouth and tongue" can help).
It is worth remembering that the environment often evaluates children by what and how they speak. Speech and communication disorders can lead to adjustment difficulties, especially in an environment such as school, which in turn can significantly reduce their self-esteem, their position in the peer group and can limit their emotional and mental development. Communication is one of the most important skills acquired at school age, the correct education of which should be ensured by the performance of appropriate speech therapy exercises.
