Touch screens create the impression that reality changes literally with the touch of a finger.
It is hardly surprising that in such realities the child can feel confused, oversensitive and overexcited. A young nervous system and emotionality are not ready to perceive so many factors and properly process them. Hence, among other things, the prevalence of so-called sensory integration disorders among the youngest. In extreme cases, they can be diagnosed as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in a child, that is, commonly known ADHD. What does it show? The most common symptoms include: impulsivity, trouble concentrating, easily distracted by environmental factors, running/jumping, restlessness, trouble sleeping, aggressiveness, talkativeness.

However, as it turned out, there are many means and ways to help parents of hyperactive children. Of course, a visit to a specialist and the help of a child psychotherapist come to mind. This is the most recommended method. But it is important to remember that children need support throughout the day, including at school and at home during play. It is worth recommending special toys and educational aids for children with ADHD.
Several categories can be distinguished among them. They can be educational aids that require movement, give joy and allow you to use excess energy. The second group is toys for concentration, as well as the formation of skills, especially social ones.
In the first case, it will be all kinds of balls, disks, stones or sensory talismans. They have special spikes, hairs or grooves that stimulate the child's touch and satisfy his lack of sensations. In addition, it can be a balancing board, various types of swings or a special skateboard. In general, any games and activities that require movement fit perfectly into this category. Hyperactive children can often focus better after exercise.

On the other hand, if we want to focus on improving social skills or concentration, games designed specifically for this purpose come to the rescue. These will be all kinds of cubes, puzzles, games that teach you to name emotions, memory games, such as emotional memory and require accuracy, for example, fishing for emotions.
In summary, ADHD disorders are very common among children today. However, do not panic if your child is hyperactive. There are many aids and ways to help him and teach her to control her emotions.
