According to the new rules of school equipment in Ukraine, a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher must be in every safety class. After all, first of all, it is one of the simplest means of extinguishing fires or stopping heavy smoke, which even a person without special firefighting skills can cope with. And secondly, it is a useful demonstration device for fire safety classes, with the help of which you can safely practice the algorithm of actions in the event of a fire and practice practical firefighting skills.

A carbon dioxide fire extinguisher in the safety class is used for:

acquainting children with the appearance, design features and purpose of various types of fire extinguishers;
practical training and working out the procedure in case of fire or smoke;
in emergency cases - for extinguishing fires that occurred in the premises of the educational institution.
A feature of this model is the limitation of its use to 5 square meters. So take care in advance of having a sufficient number of fire extinguishers, taking into account the area of the room.
