9HPT is an indicator of the overall accuracy and coordination of hand movements of patients who have survived a stroke during the performance of actions that characterize gross motor skills. This indicator consists of 1 functional task. Patients are asked to remove 9 rods from the container and insert them into the holes. After all 9 rods are inserted, they are removed from the holes as quickly as possible and placed back into the container. Patients are assessed on how quickly they can insert and remove the rods, so the faster the time they demonstrate, the better the result. It has been proven that this indicator is quite reliable and diagnostically justified.
