The Bresser Biolux LCD 50x-2000x is a digital microscope with a 3.5" LCD screen, ideal for group work and teaching. The dual illumination option allows you to examine samples in different lighting conditions. It has a built-in 5-megapixel digital camera for photos and videos, with the option of storing data on an SD card or internal memory.

The reversible device contains 4x, 10x and 40x lenses, and the camera provides 12.5x magnification, with a 4x digital zoom option. The total optical magnification reaches 2000x. The slide has a micrometre-adjustable mechanical slide and focus is controlled by coarse focus knobs.

The LED illumination provides clear illumination of the specimens, and additional filters allow adjustment of the contrast and thickness of the light beam. The illumination intensity is controlled by an 8-position rheostat.
