The Lesko Button and Zip Device is designed for people with disabilities who have problems with coordination or limitations in upper limb function.
This device has a comfortable plastic handle that does not slip in the hand. On one side of the handle there is a buttonhole for buttons and on the other side there is a hook for a zip fastener. This allows you to fasten and undo buttons with one hand.
To undo a button, the loop is threaded into the buttonhole of the garment, gripped by the button and then pulled through the buttonhole. Unfastening is done in the reverse order.
For a zip, the hook hooks the zip slider and moves it to one side or the other to fasten or unfasten it.
This device is efficient and functional, and is ideal for people who want more independence despite their limitations.
