The Delta Optical Discovery 40 20x-40x is a popular stereoscopic microscope with hybrid power supply and dual LED illumination. It is used to examine three-dimensional objects in reflected light, such as details on the surface of grinds, metals, minerals, and transparent samples.

When equipped with the WF 10x eyepieces and 2x, 4x objectives, it provides 20x and 40x magnification, and with the optional WF 20x eyepieces, up to 80x. The optics produce a clear 3D image with good depth. The tripod arm allows you to examine specimens that are inaccessible to the table, and the ability to mount a digital camera makes it convenient for taking photos and videos.
