Microscope SIGETA Elementary 40x-400x MENTAL
SIGETA Elementary is a simple but not primitive microscope for students. It has three magnification modes - 40x, 100x and 400x - as well as achromatic objectives and a Ramsden eyepiece, allowing children aged 8-14 to use it without transverse chromatic aberrations.
Its sturdy metal tripod is adjustable and the base can be tilted up to 60 degrees. The microscope is stable even when tilted, making it ideal for school classrooms. Focusing is achieved by a rack-and-pinion mechanism, which allows for fine and coarse adjustment.
The slide table has metal slide clips and a disc diaphragm for adjusting image contrast. Illumination is provided by a double-sided mirror under the table, which can be replaced with an electric module for difficult lighting conditions.
