Moving map of the starry sky

This study guide is intended to be used as a handout for the study of astronomy in secondary schools, and can also be useful in geography, natural history and physics classes.

FEATURES AND PURPOSE OF THE MANUAL
This educational material allows students to study the starry sky in an easy and interesting way and to acquire basic skills of orienteering.

The moving map has two main parts:
- a disc with a star map image that rotates around an axis in its centre;
- an overlay circle, which is located on top of the rotating disc and is a fixed element.

The map shows the largest and brightest stars, as well as the main constellations. The size of the circles on the map corresponds to the brightness of the star - the larger the circle, the brighter the star.

The moving map comes with an instruction manual that will help you quickly master the skills of working with it.

Specifications and equipment can be changed according to the needs of the customer.
