Device for demonstrating momentum conservation
The device for demonstrating the law of conservation of momentum is intended for use in a school physics classroom to conduct demonstration experiments in mechanics, in accordance with the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.
The device has a simple design:
- A base with horizontal supports.
- Metal balls of equal mass are suspended on the supports.
During the demonstration, one of the balls is deflected by a certain angle from the equilibrium position and released. As a result of the transfer of momentum between the balls, the outermost ball is deflected to the opposite side of the device.
Main characteristics:
- Approximate dimensions (LxWxH): 17x15x18 cm
- Weight: up to 750 g
Package contents:
- Device for demonstrating the conservation of momentum
- Packing box
