Model of the current "Solar system"

The Solar System model is a demonstration equipment for physics, astronomy and geography lessons in schools. It helps to learn:

- The structure of the solar system
- Distances between the planets
- The relative sizes of the planets

Description.
The model is a small-scale copy of the solar system. The Sun is in the centre in the form of a red ball with a light bulb inside. Eight planets of different sizes and colours are attached to moving metal rods. The whole structure is placed on a stand with a plastic base.
