Existing hydraulic press model
A model of a hydraulic press for physics lessons is used in modern educational institutions. It allows students to demonstrate
- the principles of construction and operation of a hydraulic press;
- experiments with high pressure.
The design of the current model includes a transparent cylinder with a large piston, a pump, a safety valve and a pressure gauge. The device is mounted on a cast-iron frame with a machine oil tank. To activate the press, a removable handle (lever) is used to move the pump piston.
The set also includes a strong spring and a device for bending the bar.
